Otakon 2011: Songstress Yunaby ~Dramaya

The first of the Otakon pictures from this year! As this is a costume that I've shown here before, but haven't completely finished until now, I thought it would be fitting to show off this cosplay in its completed state!

It's not exactly the best picture I'll ever have of Songstress, but it does do a very nice job of showing off pretty much every detail! And especially the new stuff! One, I got a new wig! Two, I finally have a hair tail! And three, I finally finished that dang mic staff! Even now, some of it still needs work, as stuff always does after I've first worn it, but it's not a pressing issue, except for the wig. At the end of the day, it was looking pretty derpy despite two hours of hairspraying. DX Oh well, I'll probably get friends who are much better at wig-styling to do it for me next time around, haha.

As for the boots, I've decided I'm not gonna bother at all. I think I've just about retired this costume, save for one or more conventions (maaaaaaaaybe AUSA?). I've worn it just as much as Summoner at this point, and it's time to move on--to Gunner Yuna! My next confirmed Yuna cosplay!

I've got more photos of this on the way, though, that's for sure! And for sure, they're gonna be GORGEOUS.

may i ask how you made the sashy-thing attached to the top? (like what shapes did you use sorta thing) im constructing that part myself atm

Do you mean the ruffles on the vest? It's a bit difficult to explain how I did the ruffles, but they're sewn on the inside of the vest. That's really all there is to it; it's been a while since I made most of the cosplay anyway...
